NOTE for maintainers: the 2008-era Speedglas catalogue lists the equivalent part as "83 80 30 — Filter cover" (no colour specified), while the current (Oct 2024) datasheet lists "83 80 31 — Filter cover black" — this looks like a colour- specific renumbering, but that has not been independently confirmed against a 3M source stating the two are the same physical part; flagged as a suggested follow-up rather than asserted here.
