How long does the Lincoln 3350 battery last?
Updated 2026-07-07
It depends on which battery your Viking 3350 PAPR system shipped with. Per Lincoln Electric’s own publication (EE14.747), the Viking PAPR platform comes in two battery options:
- Standard battery (KP3937-1) — 9 hours at 180 l/min airflow, roughly 3 hours to recharge.
- Extended battery (KP3938-1) — 16 hours at 180 l/min airflow, roughly 4.5 hours to recharge.
Both are Li-ion, rated for around 500 charge cycles, and use the same KP3932-1 charger. The extended battery is the one fitted to the K3930-6 kit (Viking 3350 XG PAPR with Extended Battery); the standard battery ships with K3930-4.
Actual runtime will fall as the battery ages toward the end of its charge-cycle life — if you’re seeing noticeably shorter runtimes than these figures, that’s consistent with a battery nearing end of life rather than a fault, but check Lincoln’s documentation for your exact kit to confirm.
