Not called out under the manual's NIOSH/CE approval-scope wording the way the filters are (see 03-892 etc.), so classed manufacturer-listed rather than officially-approved — it is a required component but the approval text does not name specific battery part numbers as approval-scoped. Higher-capacity alternative: 03-856 (longer run time, wider temperature range, 500+ cycle rating). unverified: Known cross-document inconsistency (RPB's own documents disagree, flagging per the ESAB precedent — see rpb-px5.yaml generationNote): the Nov-2022 US Technical Data Sheet (Form 7.20.452 R10, p.2) states minimum run times of HE(P) Speed 1 >11h/Speed 2 >6.5h/Speed 3 >6h and OV/AG/HE Speed 1 >8h/Speed 2 >6h/Speed 3 >6h for the 03-855 battery, while the 2025 CE instruction manual (Form 7.20.569 Rev 5, p.33, Table 1.4) states materially LOWER run times for the same part number — P Filter Speed 1 >10h/Speed 2 >7h/Speed 3 >6h and A2P Speed 1 >5h/Speed 2 >4h/Speed 3 >4h.
