The manual does not distinguish 15-0399-99 from 15-0499-99 beyond listing both under the same "Organic Vapor/Acid Gas* Cartridge" description with identical case-pack suffixes and the same footnote — no functional or approval difference is stated in Table 2. Treat as an alternate/parallel SKU to 15-0499-99 pending clarification from a 3M parts-list or NIOSH approval-label cross-check. On 9100-Air and 9100 MP welding helmets the HE+OV/AG combination requires the SG-50W breathing tube (see SG-50W record).
