# PAPR Parts Intelligence > The web’s first verified welding-PAPR parts database: part-number lookup, cross-brand compatibility, supersession chains, and discontinued-system rescue guides. Every claim carries one of four approval tiers and traces to a dated primary source. Free to use with attribution to paprparts.com. Information resource, not safety advice — PAPR systems are approved as complete tested systems; always verify against the manufacturer’s approval label. Currently 27 part records across 9 PAPR systems. ## Key pages - [Approval status taxonomy](https://paprparts.com/approval-status/): The four-tier compatibility system every fitment claim on the site carries — officially-approved, manufacturer-listed, physically-compatible, workplace-regulatory. - [Part-number index](https://paprparts.com/parts/): Every part number in the database with category, lifecycle status and data status. - [Systems index](https://paprparts.com/systems/): All covered PAPR systems with approvals and headtops. - [Data access](https://paprparts.com/data/): How to use the free JSON API and llms.txt endpoints, and the attribution ask. ## Systems - [3M Speedglas Adflo PAPR](https://paprparts.com/system/3m-adflo/): 3M's belt-mounted welding PAPR, used with Speedglas 9100-Air, 9100 FX-Air, 9100 MP, G5-01 and G5-03 Pro Air headtops (and Versaflo M-series with the correct breathing tube/duct). Approved combinations are defined by the NIOSH approval label / EN certificate for the complete system — always check the label for your exact headtop, tube and filter stack. - [3M Speedglas Speedglas 9000 / 9002 with Fresh-air C & legacy Adflo (discontinued)](https://paprparts.com/system/3m-speedglas-9000-fresh-air/): Discontinued. The discontinued Speedglas 9000/9002 helmet series, run either from legacy Adflo blowers or the Fresh-air C compressed-air system. Many units are still in field use. We hold the official period parts list (3M Speedglas catalogue), so the exact part numbers welders hunt for are documented here — including 43 30 00, the headband with air duct. Availability today is second-hand or old stock only; nothing on this page implies current manufacturer support. - [CleanSpace WORK / CST PRO (hose-free PAPR)](https://paprparts.com/system/cleanspace-work/): CleanSpace's distinct battery-on-mask architecture: no belt, no hose — the blower sits on the half-mask itself (<400 g) with AirSensit adaptive airflow. Relevant to welders for grinding/fabrication particulate protection, but it is NOT a helmet PAPR. CRITICAL standards distinction: as a tight-fitting half-mask system, the CST PRO is certified under EN 12942 TM3 (tight-fitting masks) — not EN 12941, which covers loose-fitting hoods/helmets like Adflo or EPR-X1. The two standards have different classes (TM vs TH), different fit requirements (tight-fitting masks need fit testing), and different protection assumptions. Never treat them as interchangeable. - [ESAB EPR-X1 / EPR-X1.1 PAPR](https://paprparts.com/system/esab-epr-x1/): ESAB's welding PAPR with a fully published part-number list. Per ESAB's official page, the EPR-X1.1 is compatible with current ESAB prepared-for-air helmets: Sentinel A50, Sentinel A60, Savage A50 LUX, Savage A-40, G-30/40/50 and F-20. Certified EN 12941 TH3P. - [Lincoln Electric Viking PAPR (3350 / 3250D FGS / 3350 XG)](https://paprparts.com/system/lincoln-viking-papr/): Lincoln's welding PAPR built around the Viking 3350 helmet platform (systems K3930-4 standard battery / K3930-6 extended battery). NIOSH 42 CFR 84 approved loose-fitting PAPR, APF 25, three-stage filtration (spark screen KP3936-1 → pre-filter KP3935-1 → HEPA filter KP3424-2). Verified against Lincoln's own publication EE14.747 — which also proves the widely-circulated "KP3934-2" filter number wrong. - [Miller Miller PAPR (Gen 1)](https://paprparts.com/system/miller-papr-gen1/): Discontinued. First-generation Miller welding PAPR (used with the T94i-R flip-front and hard-hat headtops). Kept as a SEPARATE system record from the Gen 2 PAPR II because batteries and filters are NOT interchangeable across generations — the single biggest user trap in the Miller ecosystem. - [Miller Miller PAPR II (Gen 2)](https://paprparts.com/system/miller-papr-gen2/): Second-generation Miller welding PAPR (PAPR II). Uses its own battery (287178) and filters (287170-series) which are NOT backward-compatible with Gen 1 units — Gen 1 requires battery 244131. Always identify your generation before ordering parts. - [Optrel e3000 / e3000X PAPR](https://paprparts.com/system/optrel-e3000x/): Optrel's belt-mounted PAPR (three airflow settings, 170–240 l/min, HEPA 99.8% at 0.3 micron, up to 18 h battery). The e3000X is the current blower; the original e3000 and its 10-hour battery are discontinued. Confirmed on Optrel's own product page: "the Swiss Air face mask cannot be attached to the e3000x blower." - [Parweld XR943A PAPR (with XR1020 flip-up helmet)](https://paprparts.com/system/parweld-xr943a/): Parweld's welding PAPR sold with the XR1020 flip-up welding & grinding helmet. TH3P certified to EN 12941:1998/A1:2004/A2:2008. Li-ion battery runs approximately 11 hours at 170 l/min or 9 hours at 220 l/min. Note: earlier research referenced the older XR940A/XR950A framing — the current products are the XR943A/XR944A generation. ## Guides - [Adflo battery guide: 35-1099-07 vs 837631 — and what to do when yours dies](https://paprparts.com/guides/adflo-battery-guide/): The Adflo battery supersession chain (837620 → 35-1099-07 → 837631), official runtimes and charge times from 3M's own manual, and an honest comparison of OEM replacement vs rebuild vs power-tool adapter. - [Miller PAPR Gen 1 vs Gen 2: the 287178 / 244131 battery trap](https://paprparts.com/guides/miller-papr-gen1-vs-gen2/): Miller's Gen 2 PAPR II battery (287178) does not fit Gen 1 blowers, which need the 244131. How to identify your generation before ordering parts. - [Speedglas 9000 / 9002 Fresh-air rescue guide: what still exists, and when to retire it](https://paprparts.com/guides/speedglas-9002-fresh-air-rescue/): Parts reality for the discontinued Speedglas 9000/9002 helmets with Fresh-air and legacy Adflo: what's still obtainable, what superseded what, and when the honest answer is to upgrade. ## Machine-readable data (free, with attribution) - [API manifest](https://paprparts.com/api/index.json): Endpoints, record counts, and taxonomy definitions as JSON. - [All parts as JSON](https://paprparts.com/api/parts.json): Every part record with specs, supersession chain, fitment claims, approval tiers and dated evidence. - [All systems as JSON](https://paprparts.com/api/systems.json): Every system record with approvals, headtops and sources. - [Full dataset as markdown](https://paprparts.com/llms-full.txt): The whole database in one LLM-ingestible fetch.
